obsessively checking my email

i have a tendency to either forgo my responsibilities or to obsessively hover over them.  the checking of my email is one such responsibility.  when i am waiting for something to arrive i have been know to check my gmail inbox up to 20 times in one day.  generally i don't check it more than once or twice a week, otherwise.

television, my savior

television has always been a key component in the alleviation of boredom.  i am fond of most of the programs on cartoon network's adult swim .  my favorite show on the network is by far the venture brothers.  dear god this show is excellent.  it combines classic comic book storytelling with fringe references and black humor.  genius!

reducing boredom...a constant challenge

when there is nothing else to do, facebook  can come in handy.
